Against the backdrop of the renaissance of humanistic thought in the 1980 s,film creators gradually broke through the ills of simplification,conceptualization,and symbolization of characters during the "17 years" and "Cultural Revolution" periods with new creative concepts.When shaping the image of characters,they consciously reduced the politically coded symbols into flesh and blood "people." And the practice of drama adaptation to shape the character image,its development process is blended with the film.Therefore,in the process of adapting the drama to the film,how the adaptor reinterprets the characters in the text of the drama and presents them on the movie screen to conform to the trend of the times,to realize the thinking of people and society at that time,and to become the characters of the movies in the 1980 s.On the one hand,to get rid of the discipline of political discourse,on the other hand,from the outside to the inside,from the outside to the inside,gradually a side entry point of human culture.This dissertation observes the appearance of "character images" in Chinese drama adapted films in the 1980 s,that is,through analysis and comparison from drama text to film text,under the creative concept of the new era,the adaptors have done different representations of the characters in the original works.s hard work.Through the division and connection of the three chapters,the full text aims to analyze and summarize the overall characteristics of the characters in the original work after reshaping the characters in the original work from the practice of adapting the drama in the 1980 s to explore the text of the drama at that time.With the efforts of the adaptors,the "character images" in the film coexist and interact with movies,society and the times:The first chapter takes the disenchantment of heroes,the humanization of villains,and the authenticity of historical figures as the breakthrough point.It analyzes how the adaptor breaks the symbolic characterization method under the new creative concept,thereby transforming each political The coded character symbols are shaped into authentic and credible "people".The second chapter starts from human body expression and emotional expression.On the one hand,it examines how the adaptor integrates into the spirit of the new era during the adaptation,and recreates the characters in the original work,so that the characters after the adaptation are more meaningful.Timeliness;on the other hand,I do related research on the limitations of the screen presentation of some characters.The third chapter mainly discusses how the adaptor deeply digs into the inner world of the original characters based on the phenomenon of "human" alienation in the development of the times,and conducts an in-depth analysis of the original characters in the adaptation process in combination with the new social and historical environment,so as to analyze the economy The perplexity of human nature in the tide,the anxiety of existence in cities and villages,and the pains of the times of "change" and "unchanged" appear on the screen.
