| Wu Tianming’s rural film creation expresses his examination and reflection on the period of social change through textual narration.When watching wu Tianming’s five rural films,the author found that the author focused on the theme of The Times,the mission of the nation and the rural society,explored its multi-dimension ethical relations with ecology,society,individual experience and other dimensions,and presented the development state of the relationship between the people in the rural life.This is what narrative ethics emphasizes.The narrator reveals his creative purpose and ethical intention in the narrative process through his mastery of narrative form.Throughout his five rural films,he is different from the fourth generation of directors in terms of lens language.He tries to pursue plain lens language to objectively copy the small rural areas in the west,and takes the countryside as the epitome of The Times and society to echo the theme of The Times.In terms of film concept,he always adheres to the idea of reminding the tradition,which is quite different from the concept of the fifth generation director.The e creative years spanned 30 years,during the course of twists and turns,but the artistic spirit and value orientation he insisted on in the River Without Navigation Mark has continued to his last film song of the Phoenix.This paper attempts to interpret wu Tianming’s rural films from the perspective of film narrative ethical criticism,so as to better understand wu Tianming’s ethical representation of the subject and explore the ethical connotation and value orientation contained in the films by analyzing his narrative discourse skills.The article is divided into six parts,including introduction,four chapters and conclusion.The introduction part mainly introduces the research background of this paper,the research overview of Wu Tianming’s rural films and narrative ethics,and the key points,difficulties and innovations of wu Tianming’s rural films based on narrative ethics.Focusing on the narrator,the narrative form and the revealed ethical value orientation,this paper is divided into four chapters,respectively through the ethical representation of the narrative subject,the narrative form of the film,the ethical connotation of the film and the spiritual inspiration of the narrator.The first chapter,the discussion will rural film narrative subject ethics characterization,from will life experience and life experience of ethical analysis to identify the narrative subject,around his hometown,he with the decentralized rural parents traveling experience,since the childhood love of literary and artistic creation experience summed up as "the western person","outsider" and "old actor" triple characterization.The second chapter discusses the narrative ethical form of Wu Tianming’s country films.Firstly,it introduces wu Tianming’s five country films,the River Without Navigation Mark,Life,Old Well,Face Changing and Birds Pay Homage to the Phoenix.Secondly,through the image analysis of five works,three distinctive narrative discourse techniques of Wu Tianming’s country films are found,namely,the pursuit of objective and real realism,the spatial narration of geography,society,culture and fable space,and the binary opposition narration of value orientation more clearly and simply presented.The third chapter discusses the ethical connotation and value orientation of Wu Tianming’s rural films.Centering on "human",it discusses the ethical connotation in the relationship between human beings and nature,human beings and society,and human beings and themselves in Wu Tianming’s films.It specifically analyzes the harmonious symbiotic relationship between man and nature,the adherence to the concept of benevolence and justice,the shaking and restoration of the patriarchal order and the promotion of the concept of independent marriage conveyed in the film.The fourth chapter discusses the narrative intention of Wu Tianming’s rural film creation,that is,the intention that the narrative subject hopes to realize through narrative activities.After analyzing the five rural works,the author tries to summarize his narrative intention as the attention to the humanistic spirit,the inheritance of traditional culture and the persistence of the artistic concept of film.Finally in the conclusion part,the paper puts forward the image narrative is not a simple picture collage,but the narrative subject consciously to reshape its life,therefore,the film creator can pass a function to guide society and the audience cognition,behavior and attitude,will "writing carry doctrine" on the spirit of art,should be dig out more value,To explore creative paths including but not limited to Chinese rural films. |
