| At present,the research on textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language has reached a considerable scale,but the research on textbooks of Chinese culture is relatively small.Its research objects tend to focus on the cultural textbooks of Japan and South Korea,and its research methods focus on the comparison of language and writing,or Chinese and foreign textbooks.As an important part of overseas Chinese textbooks,Vietnamese native Chinese textbooks are mostly focused on a series of general Chinese textbooks,such as Chinese and Chinese TIENGHOA.As for the specific cross-cultural perspective,the number of studies on Vietnamese cultural Chinese textbooks is very small,unable to meet the needs of learners to learn Chinese culture.Therefore,how to excavate the resources that can be used for reference by the current textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language culture and reading from Vietnam’s local cultural textbooks has become a current issue that cannot be ignored.The main research object of this paper is a rare Vietnamese Chinese textbook,Ethical Textbook: Things in People,which was published in the late Qing Dynasty and circulated only in the form of a copy.It is intended to specifically analyze the compilation style,story content and ideas of the textbook,with a view to deepening its cultural texture and highlighting its characteristics,so as to provide reference for the compilation of cultural and reading Chinese textbooks in the field of contemporary international Chinese education.The full text can be divided into ontology and functionalism.At the ontological level,first of all,the author uses the method of literature collation to outline the basic features of the Ethics Textbook: Things in People,and summarizes its compilation style,with particular emphasis on the collation and induction of the 50 stories collected,starting from the two aspects of the Chinese origin and Vietnamese elements of the relevant stories,to sort out their story sources one by one.Secondly,using the comprehensive analysis method,in-depth analysis of the stories collected in the Ethics Textbook: Things in People.First,from the external level of the story type,we investigate the animal,character image,story motif,story structure,etc;Then,from the perspective of internal ideology,we will examine the patriotism,interpersonal norms,ethics and morality embodied in the book.Finally,based on the perspective of today’s international Chinese teachers,the above two aspects make a preliminary evaluation of their advantages and disadvantages.At the level of functionalism,it mainly focuses on the topic of the enlightenment of Ethics Textbook: Things in People on contemporary international Chinese teaching.On the one hand,the book can provide inspiration for the compilation of textbooks in the field of international Chinese education in terms of the mode,concept,principle and construction of textbooks,mainly including: the compilation of textbooks in the main way of stories,and the strengthening of the localization and pertinence of the compilation of textbooks.Moreover,the book can provide reference for teaching Chinese as a foreign language in terms of teaching content,teaching objectives,teaching methods,etc.Finally,this paper applies theory to practice and preliminarily discusses the teaching method centered on Chinese stories. |
