Study On Dahonglu In Han Dynasties

Dahonglu was one of the Jiuqing of the central government of the Han Dynasties,There have been many opinions about the origins of the Dahonglu in the past,such as Chu official or Zhou official.During the view of Zhou official,there is a debate between the Daxingren and the Xiangxu.Based on the comparison of various theories,the textual research of documents and the supporting evidence of the unearthed objects,It can be concluded that the main origin of Dahonglu in the Han Danasties should be the Daxingren in the Zhou Dynasty.After a long period of development,the Daxingren became Dianke in the Qin Dynasty.At the beginning of the Han Dynasties,there was also a Dianke in the central government.After several renames,It was officially named Dahonglu during the first year of Taichu of emperor Wu.There were a total of 85 Dahonglus who can be tested in the Han Dynasties,43 from the Western Han Dynasty(Including 5 temporaily stationed at Dahonglu.)and 42 from Eastern Han Dynasty.The native place of these personnel were distributed in Silixiaowei,Yuzhou,Jingzhou and Xuzhou.During the Western Han Dynasty,most of them were from Sanfu of Slixiaowei,Dring the Eastern Han Dynasty,most of them were from Sanhe of Silixiaowei.Dahonglu who came from Xuzhou were all in Western Han Dynasty,and who came from Yuzhou and Jingzhou were most in Eastern Han Dynasty.In a word,these characteristics of time and geographical distribution objectively reflect the influence of the political,economic and cultural strength of these areas.Dahonglu held many posts,but the most important ones were etiquette and diplomacy.At the same time,Dahonglu also has a number of subordinate officers,the most important subordinate officer was Dahonglucheng and Daxingling.The selection of Dahonglu was based on ability,Confucianism,fame,family background,and experience on politics.In addition,the voice,appearance,personal preferences of the monarch will also have an impact on the selection of the Dahonglu.On the issue of the transfer of Dahonglu,the central officials were the main source or direction,whether they were moved in by Dahonglu or moved out from Dahonglu,and the Dahonglu who came from Eastern Han Dynasty,when they moved out this position,most of them were became Sangong.On the issue of the term of Dahonglu,the average term of Dahonglu in the Western Han Dynasty were slightly longer than that of the Eastern Han Dynasty,and the term of Dahonglu in the Eastern Han Dynasty reflected two extremes: the earlier term of office was longer,most of then could die in office;the later term of office was short,and the personnel changed frequently.In the Han Dynasties the discharge of Dahonglu was relatively simple,most of them moved to other offcials,a few died of natural causes,In addtition to a very small number of people because of crime,illness,war and other special reasons to discharge Dahonglu.
