It is an information system that connects environmental space and people based on human spatial cognition,which can assist people to find their destination in a specific space using information pointing.Campus guidance is a public facility based on a visual transmission system,consisting of products with complete information and simple shapes,distributed within the campus according to certain location nodes,using the language of visual perception to provide services such as campus spatial layout and cultural information.Due to factors such as the late development process of domestic campus guidance systems and uneven design levels,the research and analysis of campus users’ needs have been neglected,resulting in reduced interactivity and demand between campus users and guidance products.Therefore,the campus guidance system needs to be digitally upgraded to meet the needs of contemporary campus development.Based on the above considerations,this project aims to explore the user behavior and needs of campus guidance products based on research and analysis of domestic and international digital guidance system designs and to apply product design concepts to design the structure of campus guidance systems,to make the products more in line with the aesthetic and usage behavior of users,thereby improving the quality of campus infrastructure services and enhancing the satisfaction of the campus community.The design of the system is based on the design of a campus orientation system,which is designed to be more in line with the aesthetic and user behavior of the users.By sorting out users’ surface needs and deep-seated behaviors,the design factors of the campus digital signage system are obtained.Finally,based on the results of the analysis,design optimization is carried out to provide relevant design references for future products of this kind and to promote the construction of future smart campuses.It is hoped that the exploration and research in this paper will provide some theoretical and practical reference for the transformation of campus infrastructure into an intelligent and digital one.
