| This paper presents a concrete theoretical and practical study of dynamic picture books based on emotive design.Firstly, the feasibility and necessity of this research is highlighted through a review of the current state of research on dynamic picture books and emotive design.Secondly, the four stages of development of dynamic picture books are sorted out and their similarities and differences with other illustrative media are analysed, thus enhancing the knowledge of dynamic picture books. At the same time, the emotional design and the three-level theory are elaborated, and the current communication media of dynamic picture books are analysed to summarise the common problems that arise in dynamic picture books in the current market. Then, through the analysis of the cognitive and aesthetic perception characteristics of the target 7-9 year olds, market research is conducted to provide suggestions for the subsequent creation practice of dynamic picture books.Again, the function of emotional dynamic picture books is explained in terms of aesthetic and educational aspects, and then the emotional expression in dynamic picture books is analysed in terms of sensory and interactive dimensions. Then, the graduation project "The Hundred Changing Brushes" is described in terms of its creative theme, art style and technical presentation. Finally,my graduation project "The Hundred Changing Brushes" is used as an example to analyse the emotional design of the project, focusing on three aspects: the instinctive design of fun,the behavioural design of interaction and the reflective design of emotional experience. Finally, the graduation project "The Hundred Changing Brushes" has led to thoughts on the concept of children’s orientation and the cross-border linkage of IP,providing ideas and design methods for the development of dynamic picture books. The innovation of this paper lies in combining emotional design with dynamic picture books, respecting children’s emotional experience, and exploring how to better utilise the role of dynamic picture books in children in the digital era at multiple levels. |
