Research And Practice Of Landscape Painting With Pastoral Theme In Southern Fujian

During the development of landscape painting in various dynasties,the pastoral theme has always been an important component of the landscape painting system.Although the number of its works is relatively small,the artists have never stopped expressing the pastoral scenery.With the development and changes of the times,the pastoral theme has taken on new significance and value that belongs to it.It is no longer an expression of the consciousness of escaping from reality and choosing to live in seclusion,but more of a concern for the lives of the people,a love for the ecological homeland,and through exploration and practice,an artistic expression that conforms to the current aesthetic has been created.In recent years,with the rise of local cultural research,the exploration and practice of regional painting has gradually become a hot topic.Southern Fujian is located in southern Fujian,mainly referring to Xiamen,Quanzhou,and Zhangzhou.It has a subtropical monsoon climate with simultaneous rain and heat,and lush vegetation.It has obvious characteristics of southern idyllic landscapes.With its hilly and plain ecological landscape and long history of cultural characteristics,it provides sufficient nutrients and soil for the development of local art,forming a distinctive regional theme for the performance of southern Fujian idyllic landscape painting,which complements the idyllic landscape painting.Landscape paintings depicting pastoral themes in southern Fujian have obvious characteristics:scattered hills,crisscrossed fields,and unique earth buildings.Its expression is not only an objective understanding of the southern Fujian region,but also the expression of the author’s lyrical thinking activities through the scenery.Currently,there are relatively few research materials on pastoral landscape paintings in southern Fujian,and greater efforts need to be made to continuously improve them.Through the practical exploration of the creation of rural landscape paintings in southern Fujian,this paper sorts out the development context of rural landscape paintings,the conditions and factors for the formation of rural landscape paintings in southern Fujian,and defines them.It also analyzes in detail the artistic expression and aesthetic characteristics of rural landscape paintings in southern Fujian,and attempts to express my own rural landscape painting creation in new painting language,as well as reflect on the problems existing in the creation.
