Research On The Reconstruction Of Rural Ethical Community In The New Era

During the period of social transformation,communication between cities and villages has intensified,and with the influx of diverse urban values,rural villagers have become more concerned with the realization of self interest maximization and ignored the demands of collective interests.Many scholars have paid attention to this issue and proposed that people should reexamine the basic environment of rural ethics and culture,rediscover the basic characteristics of modern rural social morality,and rediscover effective ways for rural ethical governance to promote rural development.This article also proposes a method to solve the problem of rural ethical governance,attempting to use the overall moral consensus concept of the ethical community to guide villagers’ personal moral obedience,and then rebuild the rural ethical community to save the loss of common moral goals in contemporary rural areas.The ethical community has distinct characteristics that are applicable to the current situation in rural areas.First,it is inclusive and can accommodate and transform the multi-directional moral requirements of community members;The second is morality,which advocates the pursuit of the "highest good" by individuals,and is the gradual naturalization of individual morality.Through the carrier of the ethical community,public moral consensus is gathered,and moral consensus becomes the moral aggregation of the members of the community as a whole.It maintains the individual’s pure pursuit of morality,and uses the ethical community as the carrier to achieve the pursuit of collective interests.In the new era,during the transformation period,a series of development dilemmas have emerged in the rural ethical community,manifested in the decline of cultural self-confidence,the loss of common values,and the lack of common morality.Moreover,the rural ethical community also exhibits distinct ethical characteristics from the past.First,the original stability of the rural ethical community has gradually been broken under the cultural conflict between urban and rural areas;The second is that the development of global integration has led to diverse value and moral pursuits among members of the rural ethical community.To return to a good rural moral order,first of all,it is necessary to exert the shaping function of socialist core values,starting from improving the rural public cultural environment,cultivating interpersonal relationships of trust and mutual assistance among villagers in a favorable humanistic environment,and generating a sense of identity and belonging to the ethical community.Secondly,it is necessary to reshape the direction of common values in the rural ethical community through the interpretation of the connotation of socialist core values,and guide villagers to shape correct value judgments and moral pursuits.Finally,under the guidance of socialist core values,build a moral evaluation platform and return to the normal rural moral order.The reconstruction of the rural ethical community in this article advocates public values and beliefs based on trust and mutual assistance among rural individuals.It is not a utopia suspended above social reality,but fully explores the essential and social attributes of human beings,which can guide all aspects of rural villagers’ lives.Through the moral shaping function of the rural ethical community,it can achieve the goal of condensing rural forces,developing public morality,and guiding the realization of individual values of villagers,ultimately achieving the goal of villagers’ development towards a perfect personality.
