Research On The Application Of Hainan Culture In Teaching Chinese To Speaker Of Other Language

Language and culture are inseparable.Local culture plays a crucial role in Chinese culture.For international students,understanding regional culture is an important way to get to know China.The construction of Hainan Free Trade Port is a major boost to Hainan’s economy and the rapid development of international education.In this context,the number of foreigners coming to study in Hainan is increasing.Foreign students are in the local cultural circle,and they hope to understand the local culture.In order to make foreign students better understand Hainan culture,teachers need to combine regional culture in the process of language teaching,and promote the development of Teaching Chinese to Speaker of Other Language in Hainan region.In this paper,we take Hainan culture as an example for teaching research.Firstly,we sort out and analyze the relevant theories of regional culture teaching,and discusses the significance of regional culture in the development of Hainan Free Trade Port,explores the relationship between regional culture and Teaching Chinese to Speaker of Other Language,and the use of regional culture in Chinese Language teaching materials.Secondly,explained the characteristics and classification of Hainan culture and the application value of Hainan culture in Teaching Chinese to Speaker of Other Language.Thirdly,this paper investigates the teaching status of Hainan culture in Teaching Chinese to Speaker of Other Language.Through the questionnaire survey of foreign students and interviews with Chinese international teachers.We found that the foreign students are more interested in Hainan culture,but their knowledge of the regional culture is limited,they hope to increase more knowledge of the regional culture by studying.At present,there are several problems in the application of Hainan culture in Teaching Chinese to Speaker of Other Language as follows:the application of classroom teaching is not enough;the number of practical activities is not enough;universities generally neglect the teaching of regional culture;the content of regional culture contained in Chinese textbooks is limited.Finally,the author proposes a strategy for teaching regional culture in Teaching Chinese to Speaker of Other Language.The first,the application of Hainan culture in Chinese teaching.The second,the preparation of teaching materials of related courses.The third,curriculum and teaching of Hainan culture.The fourth,extracurricular cultural experience activities and practical activities.The fifth,re-education of teachers’ knowledge of literature and history.The sixth,enhance the recognition of Hainan culture.
