The Color Expression Of Morandi Color System In The Creation Of Meticulous Figure Painting 《Deer View》

Color is an important part of painting creation,but also plays an important role in rendering the atmosphere of the picture and the expression of emotion.With the development of society,the Morandi color system derived from the Western artist Morandi’s painting color style has been known by people and set off a boom.Many Chinese painters try to learn some western ways of using color,and combine Morandi color system with Chinese painting creation to inject new color language into contemporary Chinese painting.This kind of gray tone has become a non-negligible presence in the diversified color expression forms of Chinese painting today.This paper finds out the similarities between the characteristics of color use in Morandi’s paintings and the concept of color setting in some Chinese paintings,and explores more possibilities of Morandi’s color system in contemporary meticulous figure painting combined with the creation of "Deer Watching".Through this study,I hope to have a deeper understanding of the colors of Morandi color system and meticulous figure painting,and enhance the perception of color.
