Exploration Of The Application Of "subjective Intervention" In Character Documentaries

Documentary is based on the principle of authenticity,supplemented by non-fiction means and artistic processing,to reproduce the real life from the dual perspective of documentary and aesthetic,including the author’s personal interpretation and views,and involves a wide range of audio-visual forms of expression.Keep objective,record true is documentary eternal principle,but the scholars of the documentary "real" and "fiction" still a long debate,for a long time,The concept of "watching the world from the wall" in direct films is considered the criterion of "truth",after a long development,finally realized a documentary completely reject the creator of "subjective intervention" is difficult to achieve.An excellent documentary is based on the audience with the creator recording real events and his own understanding and thinking,through the form of "sound + picture".It is such a documentary with artistic appeal that makes the audience be attracted by the people and things in it and experience the power of directly hitting the heart.Therefore,the author believes that it is reasonable to add subjective consciousness that does not violate the facts in the process of desk planning,shooting and post-production of the documentary,and conduct unbiased "subjective intervention",which is more conducive to the control of the film direction during the character documentary,guide the protagonist to reveal the true feelings and reveal the theme of the film.This paper will start from the theoretical basis of the "Subjective Intervention" creation technique,a series of elaboration of its application and role in the character documentary,and combined with the author’s graduation design Blue and White Dreams case study,to explore the feasibility and advantages of the use of the "Subjective Intervention" creation technique in the character documentary.Firstly,the author describes the research background,research significance,research method and literature review;the first chapter mainly summarizes the theoretical basis and definition of the documentary;the second chapter mainly describes the application of "Subjective Intervention" in the narrative strategy;the third section mainly describes the application of "Subjective Intervention" in various stages of the creation of the work,and the summary and reflection of the graduation design.
