In the long history of development,Chinese painting has formed a distinct aesthetic implication and spiritual core,and is shining brightly in the long river of human art.Traditional meticulous figure painting,as a unique form of painting in China,occupies an important position in the history of art development.It is not only different from other kinds of painting in shape and color,but also has a unique spiritual charm and value expression in the space consciousness.Nowadays,due to the impact of economic development and ideological collision,meticulous figure painting is increasingly diversified in the picture space.At this time,how to draw lessons from and apply the spatial expression techniques of traditional meticulous painting figures in the rich and diversified spatial expression arouses the public’s thinking.Based on the spatial expression of traditional meticulous figure painting,this paper first expounds the spatial characteristics of traditional meticulous figure painting,including a concise description of space and painting space,and then points out the spatial characteristics of traditional meticulous figure painting: time-moving viewpoint,rhythm-vivid charm and imagery-line application.Then comb the development of traditional meticulous figure painting source,from the formation of reasons: the way of observation,ideological basis and "god theory" to elaborate.Then,through the analysis of classical works,evidence to elaborate the spatial expression of the flow,white space,overlap and other detailed analysis.Finally,combining theory with my own creation practice,this paper makes an in-depth discussion on the spatial expression of traditional meticulous figure painting,and clarifies my own thinking and perception.
