"Agriculture,rural areas and farmers" is the focus of China’s reform and development at present,related to the national quality and economic development level.The fundamental solution to the problems of agriculture,rural areas and farmers lies in solving the problems of farmers.Migrant workers constantly wander between the city and the countryside and have made great contributions to the urban construction and development of Our country.Since 2000,China has issued a number of central no.1 documents with the theme of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers",all of which put forward that we should focus on solving the problem of migrant workers and protect their legitimate rights and interests.Documentary is an art form whose essence is to show the truth.Documentaries on "three rural areas" record the development of "three rural areas" and the most real living conditions of migrant workers in China.It uses images to witness the transformation and development of history,which is of extraordinary significance.With the further development of urbanization and industrialization,great changes have taken place in China’s traditional urban-rural structure,and migrant workers are facing great difficulties and challenges,such as difficulty in integrating into cities,living and working.A large number of documentaries on "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" have created images of migrant workers,but there are obvious deficiencies in many aspects.Based on the background of the rapid development of documentary industry,this paper studies the image building and innovation of migrant workers in filmsThe introduction part of this paper summarizes the research background,significance,core concepts,theoretical basis,research methods and research status.The second chapter summarizes the characteristics of the image shaping of migrant workers in the documentaries on "agriculture,rural areas and farmers" : they struggle in survival and predicament,stumble in confusion and search,and look forward in reality and hope.The third chapter analyzes the problems existing in the image building of migrant workers in the current documentaries on "agriculture,rural areas and farmers",and concludes that there are problems such as unbalanced emotional expression of migrant workers,insufficient emotion of characters and insufficient image value of emotion in the documentaries,laying a foundation for the next part of the research.The fourth chapter analyzes the causes of difficulties in the documentary about migrant workers.In terms of creation,the main factors are the lack of effective communication between creators and subjects,and the rigid construction of characters.In terms of migrant workers themselves,the main factors are their resistance to the lens and weak awareness of participation.The fifth chapter deeply explores the strategy of creating the character image of the documentary on the theme of "agriculture,rural areas and farmers",proposes to explore the rich elements of emotional expression,capture the positive and enterprising spirit of migrant workers,and enrich the character image by using shooting skills.The last part of the paper introduces the creative process of "Half Past Three in the Pond" in detail from the use of visual language and auditory language,analyzes the image of migrant workers in the film,and reflects on the image expression of migrant workers.
