| This thesis takes the verbs in fairy tales created by Kenji Miyazawa as the research objects, uses the methods of quantitative, qualitative and comparative analysis to investigate the use of verbs, investigates the word frequency, semantics, degree of difficulty, etc.of verbs, and explores the characteristics of verbs in Kenji Miyazawa’s fairy tales. The following conclusions are drawn.1.High frequency verbs are simple verbs of Heyu, and most of them are Erpai verbs, which account for nearly 80% of the high frequency verbs. The medium frequency verbs are all simple verbs in the same language; From the syllable point of view, the two beat and three beat verbs are the majority of the intermediate frequency verbs, accounting for about 80% of the intermediate frequency verbs.Among low frequency verbs,"verb+verb" type compound verbs are used more frequently; The "noun+verb" type compound verbs tend to use the "Chinese noun+する" type; The "adverb+verb" type compound verb tends to use the "mimetic word+する" type compound verb, which specifically describes the psychology, action state and state of things of the characters in fairy tales.2.Kenji Miyazawa tends to use verbs that express abstract relations and human activities, and uses relatively few verbs that express natural objects and natural phenomena. The semantics of the abstract relational verbs mainly include the description of the action and the expression of its existence and validity. The description of the action includes the semantics of going back and forth, rising and falling, coming out and taking out, moving and starting, and arriving, which indicate directional movement; The semantics of verbs representing human activities mainly include sensory perception, expression and attitude, including psychological semantics, and the language related semantics such as hand and foot movements and behaviors,as well as speech, question and answer; The semantics of verbs representing natural objects and natural phenomena mainly include those related to nature such as light and sound, those related to life such as life and death, and those related to material changes such as fire and wind.3.Verb repetition rate is high and vocabulary richness is low in the primary stage; The intermediate level verbs have a high vocabulary richness and a large number of words.Namely, the verbs in Kenji Miyazawa’s fairy tales are mainly at the intermediate level, verbs that are not included in the Japanese Educational Vocabulary have a low rate of repeated use. |
