Research On The Application Of Digital Painting Technology In Oil Painting Creation

The rapid development of science and technology will affect all aspects of human society,and the field of art is naturally unavoidable.The progress of anatomy and perspective in the period of literature review has rapidly improved the ability of oil painting to reproduce the objective world,while the invention of photography has prompted the creation concept of oil painting art to shift to the artist’s subjective emotional expression,and the picture language has further become abstraction and conceptualized.Similarly,the creation of oil paintings in the digital age,driven by various emerging media such as cameras,computers,and painting software,has shown new characteristics such as a combination of motion and stillness,and dimensional expansion.In this context,the theoretical research and creative practice on the specific application methods,aesthetic concepts,language illustrations,exhibition dissemination channels,and other aspects of digital painting technology in oil painting creation will be the focus of this article.Firstly,based on a thorough study of relevant theoretical literature at home and abroad,the author studies the creative experiences and representative works of multiple artists represented by David Hockney and Miao Xiaochun,summarizes the specific application methods of digital painting technology in various stages of oil painting creation,and analyzes the impact of digital painting technology on oil painting art;Secondly,conduct in-depth research on Vasily Kandinsky’s artistic concepts and representative works,and explore the impact of interdisciplinary research methods on painting creation;In the final graduation creation,combined with previous theoretical research,fully utilized digital painting technology to explore painting language with distinct personal characteristics,and successfully completed the graduation creation of the "Cat and Mouse Game" series.On the basis of theoretical research and creative practice,the author summarizes the research conclusions into the following four points: firstly,the gradual integration of digital technology and painting art is one of the development directions of art in the digital era;Secondly,it is necessary to master interdisciplinary research methods in artistic theory research and practical creation;Thirdly,selecting suitable digital painting techniques is a prerequisite for successfully creating digital oil paintings;Mastering the characteristics and usage methods of digital painting software proficiently is the key to successfully creating digital oil paintings.
