A Study On The Narrative Of Blood Relations In Chinese Family Ethics Dramas In The Past Five Years

As one of the indispensable genres of TV dramas,family ethical dramas play a crucial role in constructing social civilization and moral spirit.In recent years,a series of popular family ethics dramas have taken the specific colonial era as the narrative background and the emotional entanglements and conflicts between family members as the main narrative content.These dramas have effectively reflected the relationship situation and problems among blood relatives,which have aroused heated discussions and widespread concern in society.This paper selects ten representative family ethical dramas from the past five years.It takes the blood relatives’ relationship in the dramas as the research object.Drawing on theories related to narratology and ethics,this paper analyzes what kind of stories they tell and how they tell them by combining literature research,textual research,case study research,and the induction method.The study attempts to interpret the family patterns and ethical concepts in contemporary society,which have specific theoretical value and practical significance for the construction of film and television narratives and ethics.This article consists of three parts: introduction,main text,and summary,of which the main text has a total of four chapters.The introduction mainly explains the research background,research value and significance and research methods of the paper,and sorts out the current research status of the academic community.The first chapter of the main text defines the core concept of the paper,explores the historical context of the creation of family ethics drama works,frames the scope,and determines the sample.The classification integrates the four blood relations of father and son,mother and son,grandchildren,and siblings,which are common in family ethics dramas.The second chapter finds that the theme of the narrative content in the family ethics drama is found to be the three aspects of education,growth and emotion;The setting of the character image is shaped through contrasting internal and external characteristics and identities,and the traditional male image and female image are subverted and reconstructed,as well as the flat image shaping that breaks through the stereotype and solidification,with the intention of portraying round characters with diverse personalities;The narrative contradiction revolves around the intergenerational conflict brought about by conceptual differences,the struggle for healing trauma and the vacillation of the ethics of desire.The third chapter finds through the study of narrative time and space:in narrative time,the time sequence changes back and forth in the sequence narrative,flashback,interpolation,and pre-narrative,and the time interval is sensitive and flexible between the length and short relationship between the story time and the time of storytelling,while the time frequency advances and focuses on the narrative through the repetitive relationship between events and words.In the narrative space,a real environment is created with family scenes as the mainstay,supplemented by scenes such as schools,hospitals,and workplaces.Pay attention to the artistic use of lens space,as well as the deeper spiritual space involving dreams,hallucinations,fantasies,memories and so on.Chapter 4 analyzes the narrative style,summarizes that the family ethics drama as a whole completes the suffering narrative,warm narrative and civilian narrative in the background of realistic style,and excavates a variety of narrative styles after the integration of family ethics drama and other TV drama genres.Chapter 5 provides an analysis and overview,while recognizing the limitations of current creation,and proposing relevant strategies for future development.We strive to find a balance between art,culture and the market,in order to provide ideas for future creation.
