| The southern Buddhism of Pali language family came to Yunnan Dai land,and gradually formed the Dai Buddhism with regional characteristics by integrating with the local ethnic culture.Dai society ethics and feudal laws have been incorporated into a large number of Buddhist precepts,which have had a great impact on their society.In particular,the effect of the precepts has exerted a great influence on all aspects of Dai society.This paper discusses the important influence of the southern Buddhism at home and the law of monastic precepts on the Dai society in Banna,Dehong and other places in Yunnan Province.The specific contents are as follows: the first chapter describes the situation of southern Buddhism,summarizes the related thoughts of Buddhist precepts,introduces the southern precepts and their social functions;The function of religious precincts and taboos is to guarantee the believers’ liberation from the practice,and its function in Dai society is to greatly purify the society,improve the secular morality,morals and ethics,and enrich the legal connotation.Based on the situation of Dai ethnic group in Yunnan Province,this paper expounds the "Buddha nature" element of Dai ethnic group society,thus explaining the great influence of southern Buddhism on Dai culture.The second chapter elaborates the contents of the Ten Precepts of Pali.This precept and the general Buddhist precept still have different interpretations and functions,perhaps this is to adapt to the Southeast Asian culture of a "rule",the people here have a "standard life order" role,especially the practice of Yunnan Dai Buddhism,precept culture influence is irreplaceable,and even have different social moral and legal criteria.The third chapter describes the precepts of Dai society.It takes the living customs of Dai society as a vivid case to illustrate the influence of precepts on Dai society.It lists some folk customs and traditions of the society,all of which have the shadow of precepts,which can be seen deeply penetrating into the life of Dai society.The fourth chapter summarizes the influence of Buddhism in the Dai area of Yunnan,especially its penetration into all aspects of Dai social life.The spiritual life of the Dai ethnic group is also deeply marked with "Buddhist rules",which reflects the great influence of southern Buddhism on the Dai society in the border area of Yunnan province,and has become an important component of ethnic culture. |
