A Study On The Strengthening Confidence In Socialist Culture With Chinese Characteristics

The "Four Confidences" are the main theoretical innovations of socialism with Chinese characteristics,forming an organic whole,complementary and independent of each other.Among them,cultural self-sufficiency is the spiritual foundation of China’s modern development and progress.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "Chinese civilisation has been continuous and sustained for more than 5,000 years,and its long-term development has formed the Chinese people’s unique value system,cultural connotation and spiritual quality through which the Chinese people view the world,society and life,which is a fundamental characteristic that distinguishes us from other countries and peoples,and has shaped the Chinese people’s cultural self-confidence to learn from all".This is also the cultural self-confidence of the Chinese people.Cultural self-confidence is the most fundamental,profound and enduring force in the development of a country and a people.It is therefore clear that the study of cultural self-confidence is of great practical importance.This thesis consists of an introduction and four chapters.The introductory chapter mainly analyses the background and significance of the chosen topic,the current state of research at home and abroad,research ideas and methods,as well as innovations.First,the theoretical significance of socialist cultural self-confidence with Chinese characteristics in the new era,the dialectical unity relationship of the four aspects of self-confidence and the significance of stable cultural self-confidence are thoroughly analyzed;second,based on the theoretical foundation,historical background,cultural roots and practical foundation of the four aspects of socialist cultural self-confidence with Chinese characteristics,a meaningful support is developed for socialist cultural self-confidence with Chinese characteristics;once again focuses on the problems of stable ideology,the problems of students’ understanding of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics,the problems of building socialist culture with Chinese characteristics and the problems of promoting a strong socialist cultural state;finally,in the light of the problems of stable cultural self-confidence,analyses the problems of implementing Marxism as the leading ideology,the problems of promoting socialist culture with Chinese characteristics propaganda.Finally,in view of the problems of stable cultural self-confidence,countermeasures to strengthen socialist cultural self-confidence with Chinese characteristics are proposed,taking into account four aspects: adhering to Marxism as the guiding ideology,improving the propaganda and education of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics,actively promoting cultural exchanges with the outside world,strengthening cultural soft power and building a strong socialist cultural state,etc,which provide certain pointers for further strengthening the self-confidence of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics and promoting cultural self-confidence.
