The Influence Of The Implicit Ability Of Mothers And Children In Poverty Alleviation Relocation On Psychological Growth

Poverty alleviation relocation is an important part of China’s precise poverty alleviation policy and an important element of developmental poverty alleviation.However,in the process of physical space transfer,the "leapfrog" urbanization makes the relocation groups face various losses and pressures,and even bring trauma.However,while the relocation groups are facing pressure and challenges,they are also actively adjusting their perceptions to cope with the new environment.This study used questionnaires,in-depth interviews and thematic analysis to examine the relationship between the implicit competence perceptions and psychological growth of the relocated mothers and children.In study 1,442 pairs of mothers and their children were poverty alleviation relocation on their psychological growth and implicit competence,to explore the relationship between their implicit competence and their psychological growth under the model of actor-partner interdependence.The results showed that:(1)the implicit competence of mother and child was consistent with their psychological growth;(2)actor effect: the implicit competence of mother and child could significantly predict their psychological growth;(3)partner effect: Mother’s implicit competence has no predictive effect on their children’s psychological growth,while children’s implicit competence has significant predictive effect on mother’s psychological growth(4)the level of mental growth of mother and child with the view of change of holding capacity is better than that of mother and child with the view of entity of holding capacity.In study 2,6 pairs of mothers and children with different implicit competence views and 5 pairs of mothers and children with different implicit competence views in study 1 were interviewed in depth,in the experience of poverty alleviation relocation in the relocation of this major life events when the psychological process.The results showed that:(1)there were different reactions and cognitions in the four aspects of mother-child life attitude,family-friend relationship,self-exploration and future expectation;(2)the mother and child who hold the concept of capability change eventually form“Psychological growth”,and the mother and child who hold the concept of capability entity eventually form“Psychological loss”.The implicit ability view of the relocated mothers shows the actor effect on their own psychological growth,but does not show the object effect on their children’s psychological growth The children’s implicit ability view shows the actor effect on their own psychological growth and the object effect on their mother’s psychological growth(2)there are four different behaviors and cognitions in the life attitude,the relationship between relatives and friends,the self-exploration and the future expectation,which lead to their psychological growth or psychological loss.
