| In the adaptation films of rural novels since the new era, rural space has transformed from a poetic idyllic utopia to a rural land with a declining trend. In this period, local novel adaptation films began to focus on the shaping and expression of local space, analyzing the cultural implications and social changes of local land through the performance of different spatial types of local land in different periods.Taking the local novels adapted from movies since the new era as the object of investigation, this paper divides the spatial patterns presented therein, and analyzes the spatial construction of "local" during the process.Starting from local novels and their adapted films, this paper adopts the methods of textual scrutiny and comparative research, and takes local novel adapted films as a case study to sort out the construction of natural space, spiritual space, and social space in local novel adapted films since the new era.The full text consists of five parts. The introduction section mainly sorts out, analyzes, and summarizes the relevant research status of adapting local novels into movies since the new era,and elaborates on the research background, significance, methods, and innovative points. The first chapter defines the concepts of local novels and local novel adapted films, and sorts out the development overview and spatial classification of local novel adapted films since the new era.Chapter 2,starting from the geographical significance, divides the rural space in the film into northwest rural space, southern rural space, and northeast rural space. The third chapter takes spiritual space as the starting point to discuss the different spiritual expressions of overseas Chinese, outsiders, and the author shaped by the local culture in the film.Chapter 4 takes social space as the starting point, believing that the changes in rural order, the construction of family space, and the gender space of others formed the presentation of rural land during this period. |
