| Leo? Janá?ek is a representative of the Czech national music school of the19 th and 20 th centuries,and is considered one of the three most outstanding Czech composers,along with Smetana and Dvo?ák.The piano sonata "1.X.1905" is the only piano sonata composed by Janá?ek,and it fully illustrates Janá?ek’s anguish at witnessing the tragic scene in the streets of Brno on October 1,1905.The first part of this paper is a brief introduction to the composer and the background of the work;the second part is the focus of this paper,analyzing the musical text of 1.X.1905 and interpreting the performance on this basis;the third part is the innovation of this paper,comparing four aspects of the published version by Henle and the published version by Riding Bear,thus helping the author to understand the style of the work more accurately and to provide theoretical support for the performance.The third part of the paper is a comparison of four aspects of the Henle and Riding Bears editions. |
