The Linguistic Characteristics Of Luo Er Chun’s Oil Paintings And Its Enlightenment

Luo Erchun,born in the 1930 s,is a famous oil painter in China.He is praised as "the first person of Chinese performance painting",opening up the Expressionism road of Chinese oil painting.His oil paintings have a strong personality expression,with colorful and effortless brushstrokes.Luo Erchun has promoted the development process of expressive oil painting in China and made outstanding contributions to the localization of oil painting in China.This article takes the language characteristics of Luo Er Chun’s oil paintings as the starting point,and mainly discusses from the following three parts.The first part,based on Luo Erchun’s oil painting style in different periods,as well as his growth and learning experience,divides it into three stages,namely the art accumulation period,the art exploration period,and the art precipitation period.In the second part,by analyzing Luo Erchun’s oil paintings,the distinct language characteristics in his paintings are summarized,which are manifested in the strong local sentiment,unique colors,flat modeling techniques,and bold and imaginative brushstrokes in his works.The third part is about my practical exposition and insights into the "Hot Land" series,including the ideas in the early stages of creation,the learning and reference of Luo Er’s pure oil painting language during the creation process,and the insights after the creation is completed.Through the study of Luo Er’s pure oil painting language,I have transformed my creative concepts and gained a deeper understanding of oil painting language.
