Research On The Image Protection Of Intangible Cultural Heritage

As one of the digital preservation methods,visualization is dedicated to recording intangible cultural heritage items with historical value in an authentic,comprehensive and systematic manner,and establishing archives and databases to protect them.In the past two decades,China has made remarkable progress in the protection of intangible cultural heritage,carrying out a number of projects to protect intangible cultural heritage by means of imaging,practicing in traditional festivals,epic poems and intangible cultural heritage inheritors,establishing a standardized system for the salvage recording of intangible cultural heritage images,and striving to completely record these intangible cultural heritage items that are on the verge of extinction.While conscientiously participating in the national-level imaging protection work,Guangxi gives full play to the advantages of minority groups living in the region,independently shoots documentaries on intangible cultural heritage,and establishes the communication and dissemination platform of Guangxi Ethnographic Film Festival and TV columns at all levels.As a typical case among many excellent visualization protection practices in Guangxi,the project of recording the representative inheritors of national-level intangible cultural heritage of Yao yellow clay drum dance respects local culture and sincerely cooperates with cultural administrative departments at all levels in the process of practice.In the early stage of the project,a professional team was created and field research was conducted to familiarize with the intangible cultural heritage projects and their inheritors;in the middle stage,the documentary and overview films were shot in an orderly manner in accordance with the standard requirements;in the late stage,the project was strictly reviewed and constantly revised and optimized,and finally passed the evaluation.The images of the documentary work results are effectively disseminated and help to promote the construction of local intangible cultural heritage imaging protection.However,filming habits,review requirements and attribution of rights and responsibilities can lead to poor results of recording work,which is a common problem faced by many image-based conservation projects.In the future,we should improve the construction of the imaging protection system,expand the dissemination platform of the recording results,and form a new situation of imaging protection practice of intangible cultural heritage supported by national policies,implemented by local norms,and participated by all people,so as to preserve and promote the rich intangible cultural heritage of China.
