In recent years,many countries and regions have attached greater importance to exchanges and cooperation with China in the cultural field,due to the positive development trend of China’s high quality and increasingly international influence.In this context,the Chinese Bridge competition has been developing vigorously,providing a reference for the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language and culture.Therefore,it is of great significance for the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language and culture to review the current situation of the Chinese Bridge competition and analysis the strengths and weaknesses of the cultural test questions.This paper mainly focuses on the value of the culture test for teaching Chinese culture in the 19 th and 20 th Chinese Bridge competitions for university students,and explores strategies for teaching culture.Based on the content of the Reference Framework for Teaching Chinese Culture and National Conditions for International Chinese Language Education,it is the innovation of this paper to analysis the competition questions from the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,so as to propose cultural teaching strategies and design corresponding cultural teaching activities.In the introductory section,this paper introduces the background of the study,the significance of the study,and the research methodology,and analyses the research results of the current stage of the competition from four aspects: the situation of the test questions,the performance of the contestants,cultural transmission and cultural teaching.The first chapter describes the basic information,significance,characteristics,format and rules of the competition.Based on statistics,the second chapter compares and analyses the cultural test questions and players’ performance in the two competitions.In response to the problems in the competition questions and players’ answers,this paper puts forward specific suggestions from both the proposition and answer levels.Taking the impact of the Chinese Bridge competition on Chinese cultural education as an entry point,Chapter three summarizes the cultural teaching problems revealed by the competition and gives rational suggestions from three perspectives: students,teachers and classrooms.Chapter four proposes strategies for teaching Chinese culture from the perspectives of classroom organization,assessment of cultural teaching and consolidation of experiences outside the classroom.Chapter five designs separate cultural teaching activities around three levels: social life,traditional culture and contemporary China.Through the research of the five chapters,it is hoped to provide reference for the Chinese Bridge competition test questions,provide reference for cultural teaching activities,and promote the dissemination and development of Chinese culture.
