The problem of "sense and communication" is an important topic in Chinese philosophy. Its earliest source can be traced back to "Yi,no thought,no action, silent and unmoving, and the sense of being able to pass through the heaven and earth.Yangming’s philosophy of mind was developed on the basis of Confucianism, and was also concerned with "sense and communication".Wang Yangming believed that there is a relationship between the categories of mind, knowledge, intention, body, and matter.Based on the existing achievements of previous sages, this paper examines the connotation, ontological basis, mechanism of initiation, hindrance and reversion of"sense-passage" in order to deepen the knowledge of Yangming’s "sense-passage" thought.First,we will examine the connotation of "sense-transparency" and the philosophical ideas it implies. In the pre-Qin canonical texts, the term "sense and communication" does not exist, but is used in the form of "sense" and "communication" separately."As a compound word,it did not appear in large numbers until the Tang and Song dynasties, but the philosophical ideas contained in "sense and communication" can be traced back even to the ancient times. The previous discussions on "sensual communication" were "the sensual communication of heaven and man"and "the sensual communication of yin and yang to form all things in heaven and earth".Song and Ming Confucianism more explicitly brought "sense" to a universal philosophical level, linking sense with philosophical categories such as qi,reason, and mind.Secondly, based on the idea that "the mind and the heart are only one thing",we explore the ontological basis of "sense" and how it occurs. In this realm of existence, all things in heaven and earth are one, which is the ontological basis of "sense communication";consciousness perception and bodily sensation enable sense communication activities to take place, and at this time there is a separation between human beings and things. All things in heaven and earth are in this induction and awareness, and this induction is popularly known as qi.The emphasis of "qi" is on the induction of the heart that pervades heaven and earth,so heaven and earth are all the same qi.It is only through the circulation of this qi that the true self is able to sense and communicate without hindrance.Once again,we will analyze the problem of how "sense of communication" can be hindered.Although the sense of communication is incessant, there are often obstacles to the activity of the sense of communication of ordinary people."There are three main reasons for the hindrance of" sensual communication ": " private will," " private desire," and " habit. The human consciousness is so fixed that the "self" is no longer one with all things in heaven and earth, but a limited being.Judgment of good and evil is no longer based on the conscience but on the good and bad of the ego, thus giving rise to "selfish will," "selfish desire," and "habit." The three are separated from each other and are difficult to be perceived. Finally, the thesis analyzes the three-fold work for the return of the "sense of connection".First, sincere intention and non-deceptive conscience. In Yangming’s view,we should always be free from any selfish desire,so that our innate ability to sense and sense can be realized as it is.Secondly, conscience is inherent in all human beings, but it cannot be presented because of the obstacle of selfish desires.Thirdly,in the midst of the daily activities,we should practice and refine our work in order to regain the induction of the original mind and the development of conscience. All in all,Wang Yangming’s idea of "induction" is intended to show that man and all things are one and the same.If man can act according to his conscience,he can naturally sense all things. This also shows that the relationship between human beings and the world is not an apparent pattern, but a way of perception.
