Study On The Collation Of Variant Characters Of Inscriptions In Yinxu Shi Group And Related Problems

The division group oracle bone inscriptions are the earliest oracle bone inscriptions that have been discovered.Their internal classification is complex and the relationship between classes is close,which has attracted much attention from the academic community.However,due to the influence of materials,methods and other factors,there is still much room for research.In this paper,Yang Yuyan ’s oracle bone inscriptions collection and classification summary table ’ and Mo Bofeng ’s collation and research on the font classification of oracle bone inscriptions in Yin Ruins ’ were jointly judged as the oracle bone tablets of the division group as the research materials,and the variant characters of the division group were sorted out as the research objects.For the first time,the detailed and systematic collation and research of the variant characters of the division group are carried out,hoping to provide useful reference for the study of the variant characters of oracle bone inscriptions and even the dating of oracle bones.Based on the existing research results of the division group ’s inscriptions,this paper extensively searches and sorts out the relevant theoretical discussions and specific practices of variant characters,oracle bone inscriptions variant characters and division group ’s inscriptions research,and uses statistics,comparison,interpretation and other research methods to study the division group ’s inscriptions variant characters.Firstly,the frequency,coverage and classification of the characters in the inscriptions of the teachers ’ group are sorted out,and the various types of variant characters in the inscriptions of the teachers ’ group are counted,and the basic overview of the variant characters in the inscriptions of the teachers ’ group is mastered.Secondly,according to the classification theory of variant characters,the configuration of variant characters of oracle bone inscriptions of division group is reasonably analyzed from two aspects of ’ variant characters ’ and ’ heterogeneous characters ’.Then,on the basis of sorting out the variant character groups between teachers and guests,combined with the situation of various variant characters within the division group ’s inscriptions,the characteristic variant character groups of the division group ’s inscriptions are selected to further sort out the glyph evolution trend of the division group ’s inscriptions and its transitional stage;finally,the research results of the article are used to correct the two characters.By studying the variant characters of the inscriptions of the division group,we hope to improve the basic work of oracle bone research and provide reference for further research in the future.After analysis,the article draws the following research results.First,through sorting out,the number of variant characters in the division group ’s inscriptions was determined.Strictly speaking,there are 220 groups of variant characters in the divination of the teacher group,with a total of 861 glyphs,accounting for 8.59 % of the total number of glyphs in the divination of the teacher group,accounting for30.22 % of the total number of words in the divination of the teacher group;secondly,it is found that the number of variant glyphs in the variant glyphs of the division group is maintained at 2 ～ 3,accounting for about 67.25 % of the total number of variant glyphs in the division group,followed by the number of variant glyphs in the 4～ 7,accounting for about 26.25 % of the total number of variant glyphs in the division group,and the number of variant glyphs more than 8(including 8)is the least,mainly in the small glyphs.Thirdly,from the two aspects of different writing and heterogeneity,the system analysts group the variant characters of oracle bone inscriptions,and find that most of them are different writing characters,less heterogeneous characters,and accompanied by a small amount of " phonetic ideographic " phenomenon,which is also an important manifestation of oracle bone inscriptions as mature Chinese characters in the system.Fourthly,19 groups of characteristic variant characters are selected,which provides a criterion for the collation and complement to a certain extent.The results obtained in this paper show that the earlier the text is,the greater the probability of occurrence of variants and the greater the number of variants.The original and pictographic characters of the variant characters of the division group are obvious,especially the teacher ’s fat class,which has improved to the teacher ’s small character class and the teacher ’s guest class.The composition of the variant characters of the division group generally has the characteristics of easier position of components,increase or decrease or simplification of configuration,and mixed use of components,which also reflects the characteristics of oracle bone inscriptions that have not yet been finalized and strong subjectivity.To sum up,the evolution of the variant characters of the divisional divination is affected by both internal and external factors.On the one hand,the development of the characters follows its internal laws.On the other hand,human factors and production tools in the use process will also cause many variants.
