Concurrent words are a relatively complex grammatical phenomenon in Chinese, which has always been a difficult point for Chinese learners and has attracted much attention from academic circles. In recent years, the research on adjunctive-like words has mainly focused on the analysis of the use bias of conjunctive words, the annotation of conjunctive words in dictionaries, and the application in teaching and teaching materials. This paper takes the 267 elementary and similar words in the "International Chinese Education Chinese Level Grade Standards" as the research object, and uses the classification and statistical method to compare the English and Chinese correspondence of these 267 concurrent words and analyze the similarities and differences between the two.Based on the intermediary language corpus, this paper analyzes the biases that occur when learners acquire these conjunct words,in order to fully understand the reasons for the biases in the learners’ acquisition of these conjunctive words, and makes statistics on the labeling of conjunctive words in the beginning and smooth chapters of "The Road to Success",and finally combines the above research to put forward relevant suggestions for the teaching of conjunctive words in Chinese. The thesis consists of six parts:The introduction part explains the reasons for the selection of the topic of this paper, and on the basis of combing the current situation of the research of similar words, the research object and research method of this paper are determined, and the research significance of this paper is analyzed from both theoretical and practical aspects. The first chapter compares the differences between the two languages in terms of synthesis, based on the lexical systems of Chinese and English. The second chapter compares the 267 conjunctivity words in the International Chinese Education Chinese Level Grade Standards with the parts of speech of these words in English from the perspective of lexical types, and analyzes the correspondence and rules of these words in Chinese-English and Chinese-English equally,Chinese-English non-combined,and Chinese-English both but different parts of speech. The third chapter examines the 128 concurrent words in the starting and smooth chapters of the textbook "The Road to Success" from the aspects of the number, arrangement order, and part-of-speech labeling, and analyzes the shortcomings in the arrangement of the part-time words. The fourth chapter is based on the "HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus",which classifies and investigates learners’ acquisition of concurrent words,in order to find out the reasons for bias when students acquire concurrent words. The fifth chapter makes suggestions on the application fields of vocabulary teaching and textbook preparation in international Chinese education, based on the comparative research results between Chinese and English and the situation of learners’ acquisition of combined words. The concluding part summarizes the main research work of this paper, points out the shortcomings of this paper and the direction of future improvement.
