Research On The Characteristics And Application Of Experimental Video Art From The Perspective Of New Media

In recent years,the development of science and technology has driven steady progress in the field of art,and the art team represented by new media at home and abroad has gradually expanded.The new media ecology and communication mode have come into people’s attention by virtue of their own advantages,changing the old ideas and thinking in the past and becoming the material force of cultural life in a new attitude.Experimental video art with its unique characteristics and wide application of conceptual expression,broaden people’s vision and enrich the understanding of another dimension of experimental video art.Through literature review,this paper firstly defines the research content of this paper,tells the origin and development of experimental video art from the perspective of new media,and summarizes the perceptual experience provided by artists for audiences according to the three stages of its development.Secondly,by listing experimental image works born in the perspective of new media,the characteristics endowed by relevant experimental image works are analyzed and studied.Thirdly,the application of experimental image art is studied from three aspects: application technique,application expression and application range of classic experimental image works in the past.Finally,on the basis of the previous part,it summarizes the influence and enlightenment of the development of experimental video art from the perspective of new media,so as to look forward to the future development of experimental video art and provide more theoretical support and inspiration for the creation of experimental video art.
