The Mongolian people have a rich folk cultural heritage,including material and intangible culture.Folk culture,such as myths,legends,epics,folk tales,folk songs,and other folk oral literature,contains primitive thinking,primitive culture,and simple values.Tradition is a resource,and the creative transformation and innovative development of tradition is a topic that every writer faces.The introduction explains the reason for choosing the topic,the purpose,significance,overview,and methods of the research.This paper focuses on contemporary Mongolian novels,examining how revolutionary historical novels absorb,inherit,innovate,and reshape folk cultural resources through folk culture and elite culture,external environment and internal mechanisms,revolutionary practice,and novel narrative vision.The thesis consists of an introduction,a text(chapters 1-3),a conclusion,and references.In the first chapter,according to the social roles of the characters,the characters in revolutionary historical novels are divided into two systems:the positive character image pedigree and the negative character image pedigree.Different characters play different functions in the novel text.According to the function of the characters,the positive characters can be divided into behavior executors and behavior helpers,while the negative characters can be divided into behavior receivers and behavior blockers.It is argued that the positive and negative characters in revolutionary historical novels come from revolutionary practice,and their prototype is the black and white image system in folk oral literature.In the second chapter,according to the plot design and story arrangement of the novel,the plot mode of the revolutionary history novels is divided into "revolution+love mode" and "revolution+friendship mode".The story structure is divided into a single linear structure and a spiral structure.Among them,the plot mode is the reproduction or transformation of the "battle+marriage mode" and the "battle+knot and answer mode" in the heroic epic.The story structure is an imitation or modification of a single linear structure and a heroic epic,as well as a composite structure and heroic epic.According to the narrative position,the narrator’s position in revolutionary historical novels is divided into national position,personal position,and folk position.It is believed that the writers’ writing of Mongolian revolutionary practice and revolutionary history aims to construct the collective memory of the revolution,thereby strengthening the revolutionary identity and national identity.According to the cultural connotation and value orientation of novels,the significance orientation of revolutionary historical novels is divided into three categories: hero worship,family and country feelings,and idealism,and its folk cultural resources are demonstrated.It is believed that revolutionary historical novels absorb and inherit folk cultural resources in terms of meaning orientation,cultural connotation,and value reconstruction,while absorbing and setting off the revolutionary spirit and the style of the times,and creatively transforming and developing excellent traditional cultural resources.
