| In the new century,the Mongolian literary scene has become more prolific than ever,and with it,prose criticism has increased.In contrast,however,there has been very little theoretical research to sort out,summarise and interpret the critics’ views.This article examines in depth Mongolian prose criticism in the new century from three perspectives: essentialism,textualism and phenomenology.This article consists of three parts: introduction,main text(chapters 1-3),and epilogue.The reason for the topic selection,research status,research objectives,research methods and significance are explained in the introduction.In the first chapter,on the basis of a review of the composition of Mongolian prose and contemporary conceptions of prose,a discussion of the definition,characteristics and functions of prose in Mongolian prose criticism in the new century is outlined,and representative ideas are explained,from which the stylistic characteristics of prose are explored.In the second chapter,textual criticism of Mongolian prose in the new century is explored in three aspects: criticism of language rhetoric,features of contextual studies,and interpretation of themes.In the study of linguistic rhetoric,the critics’ critical criteria and the points emphasized are summarized;the features of contextual studies;the content of thematic studies and the problems that exist.In the third chapter,the phenomenological criticism of Mongolian prose in the new century is explored in three aspects: the phenomenon of cultural prose,the phenomenon of visiting prose and the phenomenon of lyric prose.The study of the phenomenon of cultural prose focuses on clarifying the difference between cultural prose and scholarly prose,and between cultural prose and great prose.The study of works such as the cultural prose A Distant Moonlight in the Sky is explored.The study of the phenomenon of travelogue prose explores the evolution of travelogue prose and introduces new concepts such as "visiting prose".It also examines works such as Waiting for My Great Pushkin.A study of the phenomenon of lyric prose illustrates the differences between lyric prose and prose poetry,and the transformation of lyricism. |
