Study On The Boundary Effect,Spatial Variation And Development Path Of Inter Provincial Fringe Area Of Shanxi,Shaanxi And Henan

Since economic reform and open up began more than 40 years ago,China has put forward major regional development strategies,including the east China takes the lead in development strategy,strategy of revitalizing northeast China,rise strategy of central China,and the western development strategy.With the rise of the central region and the gradual advancement and in-depth implementation of the western development strategy,the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration,Guantian Economic Zone,Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Area and Zhengzhou metropolitan area have been established in the central and western regions to build economic growth poles with city clusters and economic zones as the core.The construction of urban agglomeration and economic zone in each region is in full swing,but the borderline area of the province is not included in the economic zone,and gradually becomes the economic "subsidence area" of the whole region.In order to reverse the situation of marginalization and seek overall development with collective strength,the inter-provincial marginal areas have taken the initiative to cooperate and strengthen economic ties.The Yellow River Golden Triangle Demonstration Area is located in is located in the junction area of Henan Province,Shaanxi Province and Shanxi Province.Although the region has a 39-year history of regional cooperation,problems such as policy barriers,similar industrial structures,and repeated infrastructure construction limit the further in-depth cooperation in the Yellow River Golden Triangle.Therefore,a series of "boundary effects" phenomena such as hindering the flow of regional elements and affecting the process of regional integration are derived between regions.This study first establishes a comprehensive index system,and then uses the principal component analysis method to calculate the comprehensive economic development quality of cities in Shanxi,Shaanxi and Henan.On this basis,the fracture point theory and modified gravity model are used to evaluate the urban fringe degree from the two aspects of space and economy.Finally,the convergence analysis model is used to establish a regression equation model to measure the boundary effect of the Shanxi-Shaanxi-Henan inter-provincial border area.The main results were as follows:(1)From the perspective of inter-provincial edge region division,this study defines the scope of inter-provincial edge region through a comprehensive definition method.The scope includes the whole area of Yuncheng,Linfen,Sanmenxia and Hancheng,Heyang County,Dali county and Tongguan county in Weinan.The study area was finalized by combining the principles of defining inter-provincial fringe areas.(2)From the perspective of boundary effect,from 2009 to 2019,the mediating effect among the three provinces of Shanxi,Shaanxi and Henan was greater than the shielding effect.The boundary between Henan and Shanxi and the boundary between Shanxi and Shaanxi show mediating effect,and the boundary between Henan and Shaanxi shows weak shielding effect.From the perspective of temporal and spatial evolution,the mediating effect of the boundary between Henan and Shanxi gradually increased,and the mediating effect of the boundary between Shanxi and Shaanxi is decreasing,while the mediating effect of the boundary between Henan and Shaanxi has begun to shielding effect transformation.The inter-provincial mediating effect of the inter provincial fringe area region as a whole tends to decrease gradually.The degree of border opening is not as good as before,and the process of regional economic integration is not optimistic.(3)From the perspective of internal differences,the density of the economic connection network in the inter provincial fringe area shows a development trend of increasing first and then decreasing.Yuncheng and Sanmenxia have the closest economic ties with each other.In terms of the scope of urban influence space,because Weinan is adjacent to Xi’an,the urban spatial influence scope of Xi’an radiates outward and occupies half of the space of Weinan.Because Sanmenxia is far away from Zhengzhou,it is not affected by the spatial influence of the provincial capital city.Its spatial influence extends beyond the provincial boundary to Yuncheng.However,Yuncheng and Linfen,due to their small economic radiation and far away from the provincial capital city,have their own radiation influence scope compressed by the surrounding cities or even cannot cover their administrative areas.In terms of the spatial pattern of economic comprehensive strength,the overall economic development pattern presents a spatial pattern of "high in the southwest and low in the northeast".The overall economic quality is led by Weinan,followed by Yuncheng and Sanmenxia,and Linfen is relatively lagging behind.(4)From the perspective of external connection,the inter-provincial marginality of the inter provincial fringe area is obvious.The cities of Yuncheng and Sanmenxia have the closest mutual economic ties,and the direction of Yuncheng’s external economic ties is mainly directed to neighboring cities in Henan Province.Weinan and Linfen’s economic ties are mainly directed to cities in the province.In terms of the spatial pattern of comprehensive economic strength,there are two main features: first,Henan Province leads in overall comprehensive economic strength,followed by Shaanxi Province,and Shanxi Province is lower;second,the gap between the inter provincial fringe area and the neighboring cities is obvious,forming an obvious "central collapse zone".In terms of the spatial structure of urban influence,inter provincial fringe area shows the trend of continuous outward expansion,and the degree of internal regional coordination has improved.(5)Boundary effect transformation mechanism and control path selection.Macroscopically,this study takes the government,market and society as the starting point to analyze the mechanism affecting the transformation of boundary effect.This study believes that we should establish a border effect transformation mechanism with market mechanism as the main body and social mechanism as the auxiliary on the premise of giving full play to the government regulation mechanism.Combined with the actual development of the inter provincial fringe area of Shanxi,Shaanxi and Henan,this paper puts forward targeted border effect transformation paths for different inter provincial boundaries: create a "Sanmenxia-Yuncheng-Linfen" green economic belt along the Yellow River in the Henan-Shanxi border area;Tongguan Industrial Park in Weinan and Yuling Industrial Park in Sanmenxia City have cooperation foundation and advantages.Therefore,the Henan-Shaanxi border area can rely on the construction of a pilot area for Henan-Shaanxi cooperation;The Shanxi-Shaanxi border area will be built into a pilot area to undertake industrial transfer from three aspects: establishing cooperation mechanism,optimizing business environment and building industrial clusters.
