On The Creation Of Contemporary Seal Script From Guo Dian Chu Bamboo Slips

Guo dian Chu Jian is the ink left more than two thousand years ago.It has rich artistic value,provides rich resources for the research of the calligraphy theory and calligraphy history of our country and the world,as well as provides rich materials for the contemporary calligraphy creation as different from other calligraphy styles,which has produced tremendous influence on the calligraphy creation of the modern and contemporary scholars.Guo Dian Chu Jane contains a large number of ancient books and documents,and has been identified as a national first-class cultural relic because of its value.Its historical background was in the middle of the Warring States period,and its characters evolved from big seal characters in the Shang,Zhou and Jin dynasties,and developed towards the official script style in the Qin and Han dynasties,which belonged to the transitional period of writing.First of all,through the research and analysis of the historical background and the characteristics of calligraphy art of Guo Dian Chu Jian,this paper understands the way of using the pen,the characteristics of the font and the structure of the script.Moreover,by combing the process from how to copy Guo dian Chu Jian to how to create,the author has carried out an in-depth practical analysis of the copying and creation of Guo dian Chu Jian.Secondly,by referring to how contemporary calligraphers studied and learned the newly unearthed calligraphy documents of Guo Dian Chu Jian,as well as their understanding and practice of the calligraphy art of Guo dian Chu Jian,and practicing the copying and creation of Guo dian Chu Jian with different brushwork,we can further understand its calligraphy characteristics.By absorbing the profound cultural and artistic deposits of Guo Dian Chu Jian,my own calligraphy creation practice has been nourished by its artistic nutrition.In the practice of temporary creation,I give full play to my learning ability and properly use the characteristics of Guo Dian Chu Jane in calligraphy creation.This paper is carried out from three aspects: first,the introduction of the historical background and the analysis of the style characteristics of the Bamboo Slips in the Tomb of Chu in Guodian.Through browsing the literature,horizontal comparison and analysis of the "Guo Dian Chu Tomb Bamboo Slips" calligraphy art features.Through careful observation and analysis of the unearthed bamboo slips in the tomb of Chu in Guodian,we can understand the artistic characteristics of Chu slips in Guo dian,and summarize the artistic characteristics of Chu slips in Guo dian from its use of pen and blade,the structure and shape of the characters,and the characteristics of the rules.Secondly,it mainly analyzes the influence of Guo Dian Chu Jian on contemporary calligraphers since the excavation of Guo Dian Chu Jian,and introduces in detail the three calligraphers who have the greatest influence on the author: Zhao Shanting’s method of selecting Guo dian Chu Jian,Zhu Youzhou’s practice of Guo Dian Chu Jian,and He Huimin’s reference to Guo dian Chu Jian.Through the study and application of three calligraphers about Guo Dian Chu Jane,the author’s calligraphy research and creation have a new inspiration.Thirdly,the author analyzes the knowledge and feelings learned in the process of visiting the Chu Jane in Guodian,that is,to understand it from a stroke and a painting,and then understand its writing characteristics.In the creation of Linguodian Chu Jane,and the process of absorbing and learning from other tablet writing style,innovation is carried out on the basis of inheriting the ancients.In the end,it mainly introduces the creation perception,how to apply the turning point of the stroke to the practical creation,which mainly combines the characteristics and structure of the ancient characters with the modern and contemporary ideas of calligraphy creation.
