Study On Cultural Mobilization In Sichuan-Shanxi Revolutionary Base Areas

In the autumn of 1932,the main forces of the Fourth Army of the Red Army withdrew from the Hubei-Henan and Anhui base areas and carried out a strategic shift to the west.The Sauviere government of Chibei Township was established in Sichuan-Shaanxi area,and then the Sichuan-Shaanxi revolutionary base areas were established with the active cooperation of the Party organizations in Sichuan-Shaanxi province and the guerrillas in eastern Sichuan area.While leading workers and peasants soldiers and the broad masses of the people in arduous and resolute military,political and economic struggles,the Communist Party of China also carried out revolutionary cultural mobilization with remarkable results.Centering on the central task of "mass revolution,development of production" and so on,it formulated a series of specific cultural policies close to the revolutionary reality,carried out a variety of cultural practices,and achieved fruitful results in the fields of publicity,education and literature and art.It completely destroyed the old social order in Sichuan-Shaanxi area and played a positive role in promoting the development of various undertakings in the base areas.It laid a foundation for the victory of China’s revolutionary cause.Through the study of this subject,we can further understand the specific cultural mobilization practices and important achievements of the CPC in the Sichuan-Shaanxi revolutionary base areas,and clarify the important status and significance of the party’s overall leadership in the construction of advanced culture.At the same time,it provides important experience reference and practical inspiration for the Party to strengthen the leadership of cultural mobilization,enrich and improve the ideas and measures of cultural construction,promote cultural self-confidence and self-improvement,and build a strong socialist culture.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part is the theoretical and practical background of cultural mobilization in Sichuan and Shaanxi revolutionary base areas.This paper analyzes its necessity from the theoretical elaboration of Marx,Engels and Lenin as well as the practical motivation of cultural mobilization in Sichuan-Shaanxi revolutionary base areas,and analyzes its feasibility from the thought and practice of cultural mobilization in the early days of the Communist Party of China and the situation of cultural mobilization in Sichuan-Shaanxi area before the Red Fourth Front Army entered Sichuan-Shaanxi.The second part is the main task of cultural mobilization in Sichuan-Shaanxi revolutionary base areas.Including opposing bad rules and customs,breaking feudal shackles;Carry out revolutionary propaganda and enlighten the class consciousness;Enlarge the ranks of the Red Army and consolidate the revolutionary bases.The third part is the forms and characteristics of cultural mobilization in Sichuan-Shaanxi revolutionary base areas.This part mainly includes the specific practice of the Party’s cultural mobilization in the Sichuan-Shaanxi revolutionary base areas,including educational work,propaganda work and cultural and sports activities.And the characteristics of its cultural mobilization in purpose,content and form.On this basis,the fourth part summarizes the historical effect and enlightenment of cultural mobilization in Sichuan-Shaanxi revolutionary base areas.
