| Logic is an important criterion to test the quality of interpretation. There are significant logical differences between Japanese and Chinese,so in Japanese-Chinese consecutive interpretation, interpreters need to quickly understand and analyze the logic of the source language, and then transform it into a logical relationship that can be easily understood by native Chinese speakers. In this paper,we take the "GPCI Shanghai Michelia Alba Remote Meeting" mock conference as a case study, and firstly,on the basis of the research on the logic of translation by previous scholars,we analyze the logic problems of translation in the author’s practical case of Japanese-Chinese communication. The logical problems in the case are mainly the lack of information points, the wrong logical relationship between information points and the blurred logical level.Secondly,we further analyze the causes of these three types of logical problems in translation, which are mainly due to the lack of logical listening analysis, logical explicitation awareness and self-monitoring.Finally,this paper summarizes strategies to help translators reduce logical problems in three aspects:focusing on logical analysis in listening and information receiving, attaching importance to explicitation of logic in output, and paying attention to self-monitoring in daily life, including reasonable speculation in dynamic contexts, strengthening training in logical analysis, making good use of Power Point charts to assist listening and discernment, and using translation skills flexibly. |
