The Study On The Aesthetics Of Death In Contemporary Korean Films

"Death" is an important expression form and carrier of "black tone" and "critical strength" of Korean films,which can be presented in different dimensions such as theme,symbol,plot driven,aesthetic style and so on.Thinking about death and life is the core expression of many Korean film works.Korean film creators often contain profound death inquiry in the narration of the film;In addition to the theme ideographic function,"death" is often presented as a special image symbol in Korean films to express the meaning of "end","wither" and "liberation";At the same time,in the plot narration of the film,"death" often exists as a driving force.The "death" in the film often represents the beginning,climax or end of a narrative paragraph and becomes the motivation and turning point of the plot development."Death" in Korean films has formed its unique image style,expression form and expression method in the process of creators’ interpretation again and again.Therefore,the author hopes to inquire and explore the context and construction of Korean film "death aesthetics",comprehensively and systematically sort out the characteristics of Korean film "death aesthetics" through different dimensions such as theme,symbol,plot drive and aesthetic style,and summarize the ritual image style and "death" in the performance of "death" At the same time,it traces the cultural origin of Korean film "death aesthetics" and explores the cultural basis behind its "death aesthetics" characteristics.The full text is divided into the following five parts for discussion:The first part first classifies and defines "death" in Korean films,which is divided into three categories: physical death,mental death and social death;Then it combs the film works with the characteristics of "death aesthetics" in the Korean film market.The second part mainly focuses on the theme expression of "death" in Korean films.This paper classifies and discusses the death in Korean films from the perspective of the driving causes of death,and then analyzes the different functions of the death of different film characters in Korean films.The third part mainly discusses the image style of "death aesthetics" of Korean films.This paper studies the ritual of death scene,the concretization of death symbol and the light application of death aesthetics in the specific film text.The fourth part discusses the most representative directors of Korean film "death aesthetics" from the perspective of film creators and analyzes the different applications and different expressions of different creative subjects on death aesthetics.The fifth part mainly explores the ideological root of the problem of "death aesthetics" from the perspective of the cultural and social background of Korean film "death aesthetics".This paper analyzes the promotion of "death aesthetics" in film art by the infiltration of Japanese culture,the background of Korean national "hate" culture,the current situation of Korean multi religion and its different concepts of life and death,and the high-pressure living environment of Korean society.
