| Traditional Chinese green landscape painting was at an all-time low during the Ming Dynasty,when the rise of literati ink painting gradually marginalized traditional green landscape painting.Qiu Ying rejuvenated the ancient green landscape painting in the Ming Dynasty by skillfully integrating the literati’s interest into green landscape painting,creatively advancing the development of green landscape painting and forming his unique style of painting that is both neat and refined in courtyard painting and elegant in literati painting.Qiu Ying was active in the Wumen School of painting for many years and was deeply influenced by the ideas and aesthetic trends of the literati of the Wumen School.The formation of his unique artistic style of green landscape painting was closely related to the complex social environment in which he found himself during the Ming Dynasty.This paper attempts to take Qiu Ying’s green landscape paintings as the object of study and analyze the characteristics of literati interest in Qiu Ying’s works from multiple perspectives,such as coloring,brushwork,creative themes,and figures in point of view.The full paper examines the literati interest in Qiu Ying’s green landscape paintings in four parts.The first part provides a macroscopic view of Qiu Ying,understanding his personal experience and the social environment of the Ming Dynasty.The second part analyzes the specific expression of literati interest in Qiu Ying’s green landscape paintings.The third part explores the aesthetic interest in Qiu Ying’s green landscape paintings.The fourth chapter expounds the influence of Qiu Ying’s green landscape painting on later generations and the inspiration of his own creation. |
