| For thousands of years,farmers have been supporters of social reform and promoters of social progress.In China,farmers account for the majority of the country’s population,and the special national conditions determine that farmers are the main part of the social structure.Because of the special status of the farmer group,there are not a few paintings about the farmer theme,and it also has its unique development space.Even in the 21 st century,it is not only not outdated,but also keeps up with the pace of the times,integrates with the pulse of the times,and constantly bursts out of new vitality.Sorting out and analyzing the development context and manifestation of farmer theme paintings since the founding of the People’s Republic of China will help to see the characteristics of the development of oil painting and the value and significance of farmer theme paintings.To explore the existence value of farmer paintings in China can excavate the relationship between art,era and society.This paper first sorts out the development context and manifestation of farmer theme paintings since the founding of the People’s Republic of China,briefly analyzes the representative works of farmer theme paintings in various periods and their characteristics,and then takes the famous names as an example to carefully analyze the impact of various elements in the paintings on the main body of the paintings,and then makes a case study of representative painters,and finally concludes with the author’s creative process and detailed description,It expresses the author’s thinking about the farmer theme painting.Facing the 21 st century,the farmer theme painting is still an important performance theme.Although the current problems of agriculture,rural areas and farmers are relatively complex,it does not hinder the attention and recognition of the society for farmers,and the artist’s performance and description of farmers.Describing the image of farmers and expressing their mental state and emotional characteristics has become an important chapter in writing the history of Chinese art. |
