A Probe Into The Musical Image-Building Of Guzheng Music Staring At The Snow

“ Wangxue ” was created by Professor Wu Yan,from Xi’an Conservatory of Music Composer,at the invitation of Shaanxi Qin Zheng Association to create a Guzheng and piano ensemble piece for the “2018 Shaanxi Zheng Music Festival-New Works Concert”.The title of the work is from the Tang Poem “zhong nan wang yu xue”,Through the interpretation of “Snow”and “Mountain”by Zheng and piano,the two musical images,marveling at Zhongnan Mountains’ s towering,majestic and spectacular.This paper attempts to explore the creative intention of the music from two aspects of“Poetry,painting,music to paint mountains and snow”,“Praise Qin with its Qin characteristics”.On the basis of this,the thesis interprets the theme Statement of“Wangxue ”from three aspects of”Watching the snow from the mountain”,“To reflect the mountain with snow”,“The mountains melt into snow”.Finally,combined with my playing practice,from angles of “To create an image of the misty mountains”,”The depth and the lightness of the tone”,this paper ponders and grasps the artistic conception of Wangxue.I hope that through the study and analysis of music beneficial to further grasp the music style of this piece.
