Zhou Sicong and Lu Chen are Chinese painters with great influence in the 20 th century.Although they are independent individuals in their artistic creation,the couple influence and infiltrate each other in the innovative ideas of Chinese painting.Permutation is one of the ways to combine objects and images.As a special form of overlap,it appears in the works of them,which is the embodiment of the innovation and development of Chinese painting.They expanded the expression form of traditional Chinese painting by "penetrating and overlapping",and used graphics,colors and materials to shape the richness of the picture.Zhousicong created a series of works such as mining drawings and Hiroshima scenery.Lu Chen set up a course of ink composition in the teaching of the Central Academy of fine arts and actively explored the practice of ink painting.The two have played an important role in promoting the innovation of ink figure painting.This paper starts from the way of "transparent overlapping",and takes Zhou Sicong and Lu Chen as the research objects.The first chapter describes the basic concept of "transparent overlapping".The second chapter,combined with their works,analyzes the expression forms of transparent overlapping from the three aspects of graphic transparent overlapping,color transparent overlapping and material transparent overlapping,and explores the basic types of transparent overlapping;The third chapter analyzes the visual pursuit of permutation from the diversity of the main body of the picture,the outline of the figure and the perspective of the picture;The fourth chapter discusses the concept of multi-cultural creation under the mode of "overlapping through" from three aspects: the diverse experience of art learning,the multi concepts of the integration of China and the west,and the sense of mission of artists and social identity;In the fifth chapter,the author combines the theoretical knowledge with his own painting practice,and summarizes the creative rules of the overlapping way to promote the progress of creative practice.
