The Great Chinese Dictionary is a collection of ancient and modern Chinese words into a masterpiece,the compilation of the book after more than ten years,the participation of hundreds of domestic experts.With high academic level and use value,it becomes a flag in the Chinese Dictionary.Due to the long length of the article and the complexity of the content,as well as the large number of editors,there are inevitably omissions.Therefore,this study focuses on the sixth volume of“Shou”,and modifies its defects.The main work is as follows:First,the problem of written material.The problem of written material in“Shou”section mainly includes delayed written material,written material alone,written material missing and so on.We provide earlier use cases for those with "delayed written material",rich use cases for those with "isolated written material" and those with "lacking written material",so as to help readers observe the development process of Chinese vocabulary.The second is the problem of interpretation.The main problems existing in the interpretation of“Shou”are incomplete meaning and inaccurate meaning.We will supplement the entry with incomplete meaning and try to explain those with inaccurate meaning more properly.The third is the citation problem.The problems in the quotation of the“Shou”part mainly show that the wrong words,the dropped words,the redundant words and the inverted words.We will correct the incorrect words,complete missing words,delete the redundant words,for the inverted words positive order.Fourth,the problem of missing entry.The“Shou”section misses many important entries,which we will supplement.This article holds a corner view,seek advice from person with extensive knowledge or expertise.This paper attempts to make use of existing resources to revise the minor defects existing in the“Shou” of The Great Chinese Dictionary,and strive to make it more complete and accurate,so as to make my own contribution to its revision and perfection.
