Study On The Character Modeling Of Red Theme Opera

Opera with red theme is the embodiment of our national culture and a unique cultural trend of thought that emerged during the Long March of the Red Army,the Anti-Japanese War and socialist construction.Operas with red themes can carry forward the spirit of the Chinese nation and have self-evident educational significance.The current red theme opera is the embodiment of the national spirit and social value closely related to the development of The Times.This paper first analyzes the role of character modeling in operas with red themes,and studies the style of operas with red themes through case analysis,mainly analyzing the realistic style and freehand style character modeling.Secondly,the function of character modeling is classified,including practical function,representation function and symbolic function.Based on this,the main elements of character modeling are also studied,including the application of clothing silhouette,the effect of color and the application of materials.Finally,based on the previous research,I adapted the red theme opera "Thousands of Rivers and Mountains",and conducted an in-depth exploration of its character modeling design,and finally completed the graduation creation and achievement display.Through the character modeling and production of the opera "Thousands of Rivers and Thousands of Mountains",the author found the artistic law of the costume design of the opera with red theme,and also provided the design ideas for the character modeling of the opera with red theme in the future.
