A Study Of The Cultural Construction Ideology Of The Party Since Reform And Opening-up

Cultural construction is an important part of the overall layout of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics,and the ideology of cultural construction is an important guideline and fundamental guideline for the Party to lead the people to carry out extensive and profound reforms in the field of culture.Seizing the opportunity of reform and opening up,the CPC has made active exploration in socialist cultural construction,and its core ideas are reflected in the reports of the Party’s successive congresses.Therefore,combing through the ideas of cultural construction in the reports of successive Party congresses since the reform and opening up helps to gain a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the content and experience of cultural construction at various stages,which is of great significance for promoting cultural self-confidence and self-improvement in the new era and building a socialist cultural power.Based on the analysis of the texts of the reports of the Twelfth to Twentieth Congresses of the Party,the article adopts the literature research method,the systematic research method and the historical research method to explore the innovative discourses and stage characteristics of the Party’s development on cultural construction in different periods since the reform and opening up,and summarize the experience and revelation in the process.Firstly,the theoretical tracing is carried out at the theoretical level to provide theoretical support for sorting out the Party’s ideas on cultural construction since the reform and opening up.Secondly,on the basis of fully grasping the background of the times and the specific national conditions faced by the development of cultural construction in each period,and taking the innovative discussions on cultural construction and the main contents of the reports of the nine Party Congresses as the entry point,a dynamic vertical analysis of the Party’s ideas on cultural construction is conducted,and its evolution is divided into Culture in the service of economy and politics(from the Reform and Opening-up to the14 th Party Congress),Harmonisation development of culture and economic and political(from the 15 th Party Congress to the 17 th Party Congress),and Overall increase in the strategic status of culture(from the 18 th Party Congress to the 17 th Party Congress),We also summarize the development characteristics of social construction ideas in each stage.Finally,we draw lessons and insights from them,namely,in the theoretical innovation and practical exploration of cultural construction,we should always adhere to the theoretical guidance of Marxism,the political leadership of the Communist Party of China,the people-centered value pursuit,the basic idea of classification guidance,and the ideological cornerstone of excellent traditional culture.Nowadays,the Party’s idea of cultural construction is the wisdom crystallization of the Communist Party of China’s continuous development of Marxist theory in the light of the actual situation in China,and has rich values of the times.It not only promotes the new development of Marxist cultural theory in the theoretical direction,enriches the socialist cultural theory system with Chinese characteristics,and promotes the continuous development of cultural pluralism in the contemporary world,but also promotes the vigorous development of socialist culture in the practical direction and enhances the ruling ability of the CPC,which has important theoretical and practical significance.
