| The English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022)clearly states that it is necessary to strengthen the connection of learning stages and help students prepare for the connection learning on the basis of mastering the characteristics of high school students and English subjects.The English Curriculum Standards for General High Schools also clearly states that students in the compulsory education stage have mastered some basic grammar knowledge.When students enter the senior high school,teachers should pay more attention to leading students to consolidate the grammar knowledge they have learned,expanding their capacity of grammar knowledge,and teaching students to use grammar knowledge flexibly in actual specific contexts.Both compulsory education and senior high school English curriculum standards emphasize the effective and smooth link of English grammar teaching in Junior-Senior Transition Period.This research is carried out to promote the effective link of English grammar teaching in Linzi District,Zibo City in Junior-Senior Transition Period.The research object of this study is teachers and students in Linzi District,Zibo City.The research mainly adopts the Questionnaire survey and Interview,using the research tools of SPSSAU and Questionnaire Star to study the following two questions:(1)What are the problems existing in the teaching cohesion of English grammar in Junior-Senior Transition Period?(2)What are the relevant countermeasures for the problems? Based on the second language acquisition theory and constructivism theory,this study deeply analyzes the present situation of English grammar teaching cohesion and expounds the problems and countermeasures,so as to provide guidance,advice and reference for English teachers’ teaching.The research process is mainly divided into two parts.In the first part,we carried out questionnaires and interviews with the teachers and students of the junior and senior high schools in Linzi to find out the main problems.In the second part,by using the second language acquisition theory and constructivism theory,we analyzed the realistic and existing problems,giving countermeasures to solve the problems.The research finds that there are some problems in teaching cohesion.First,the teachers do not have enough knowledge of the curriculum standards,student’s level and teaching materials.The teachers can not fully determine the main teaching content of English grammar teaching cohesion in junior and senior high school,which affects the effective cohesion of English grammar teaching in junior and senior high school.Second,there is not enough variety in teaching methods.So students lack learning interest and learning method guidance,which affects the teaching effect of English grammar teaching cohesion in junior and senior high school.To solve the problems,we can take the following countermeasures: First,teachers scientifically determine the main teaching content of English grammar teaching in junior and senior high school through comparative study of curriculum standards,accurately grasp the level of students,and improve textbook compilation.Second,teachers should flexibly use various teaching methods and give guidance of learning methods for students to promote the cohesive teaching effect of English grammar teaching in junior and senior high school. |
