Study On Musical Characteristics And Singing Version Of Aria "The Girl’s Eye"

Donizetti is one of the representative composers of romantic opera.His operas are of various genres and styles.Aria "The girl’s eye" is selected from the first act of Donizetti’s comic opera "Don Pasquale"(aria of the heroine Norina).The opera is the last comic opera created by Donizetti in his later years,covering the essence of his music creation techniques,the musical characteristics of romantic lyricism show incisively and vividly.In this paper,the aria "A girl’s eye" as the research object,through the analysis of the composition structure,tonal layout,rhythm characteristics,accompaniment texture,to understand the melody of the music style and emotional color;Then,based on the singing versions of Lucia Pop,Annabecko and Huang Ying,the paper analyzes their commonalities and individual expressions in singing from the perspectives of timbre,breath,colouring,role shaping and stage presentation,such as the handling of song strength,the careful control of voice,the use of facial expressions and body language,etc.Explore the distinctive music style and character image characteristics caused by individual differences,so that the author can intuitively feel the singers’ unique views on the works;This also extends the experience of learning vocal music enlightenment and applied to their own singing practice.Based on the theoretical support of music analysis and version analysis of the works,the author expects to conduct in-depth exploration of the works through this paper,so as to have a more accurate understanding of the style characteristics of romantic opera music works,and then combine with my own singing practice to explore how to create a vivid image of opera characters,so as to have a deeper understanding of the works,perform better singing interpretation and improve the stage performance.
