| The zheng music "Rain Lotus Blossoms" composed by the young composer Wang Rui is one of the pieces performed in the author’s second degree concert. The author discusses the work from three aspects: overview of the work, musical analysis and study of performance practice. The musical theme of the work is a direct reference to the core tones of the traditional Hakka zheng music "The Lotus in the Water",which is based on the traditional Chinese music structure of "scattered-slow-medium-fast-scattered" and the westernnmusic variation.Through the use of triplets, the rhythm of round dance and the musical characteristics of piano and guzheng, the theme is strengthened. In terms of performance practice,I study the different musical images of "lotus" in the work from the perspective of performance techniques, showing the elegant images of lotus in bud, dancing in the wind, and falling lotus in a sudden rain.Through the combination of "force" and "air" and the relationship between "movement" and "stillness" in the performance,we can grasp the mood of the work and better complete the performance. The composition of the work can be completed in a better way through the combination of "force" and "qi","movement" and "stillness". |
