In today’s fast-paced lifestyle, sleep procrastination has become very common.According to the2015 China Sleep Index Report, more than 30% of people in China have some degree of sleep problems, and about 38% of adults have severe sleep problems, which is higher than the world average of 27%.Among many sleep problems, except for a few severe pathological sleep disorders, sleep delay or irregular sleep problems have become the most common sleep problems.Sleep procrastination refers to the behavior of an individual not sleeping within the expected time without any external obstacles.According to the core issue we focused on in this study, sleep procrastination can be more specifically defined as being addicted to high stimulation activities brought about by information technology and unable to start falling asleep at the planned or expected time,as well as the phenomenon of significant fluctuations in the time when one starts falling asleep.Sleep procrastination,as a well-defined,characterized,and welldefined behavior,is well suited as an analytical object in behavioral design.Behavioral design is a design theory proposed by Professor B.J.Fogg in 2009,which has developed rapidly and is in the ascendant in recent years. It has been widely applied in some products and services, but there is relatively little research combining it with sleep procrastination. The purpose of this study is to apply the general theories of behavioral design(FBM model, persuasive system design model, persuasive behavior table),combined with specific behavioral characteristics in the context of sleep procrastination,to sort out and analyze existing methods for forming good sleep habits.Through user interviews, research and analysis of user behavior background and characteristics,And analyze the specific implementation strategies of these corresponding methods when they are applied to actual products and services, and finally implement them into two design practices: one is a service-oriented and content based product in the form of online training camps, and the other is a physical product system consisting of "sleep station" alarm clocks, morning and evening lights, and good sleep pillows.
