The concept of projection was first proposed by Freud, who used it to understand the inner world of the speaker.Today, projection in a broad sense refers to an external projection phenomenon of individual psychology. This paper mainly discusses the projection behavior in the visual field. The process is explained as the subject transforms the psychological orientation formed by his own memory, knowledge, and expectations into a schema and projects it onto a specific object, thereby producing hallucinations.Gombrich regarded this function as the premise of artistic creation in "Art and Illusion",and he explained the process of painting with the formula of schemacorrection. So we can get such a process of making an image: projection-pre-schematiccorrection-matching.Following the path provided by Gombrich, the author once again understands and defines the meaning of specific actions in creative practice from the perspective of theoretical research, and in turn expands his own creative practice with the accumulation of theoretical learning. This linear thread does not encourage us to slice up time to understand the series of processes frame by frame, but rather provides a framework for us to get a sense of our own practice. In this process, the restricted elements implied in creation emerge. The vibrations created by the illusion during projection will re-affirm the body as the core of creation, but projection itself cannot create a better art.The inspiration and divergence it brings to people’s thinking should finally fall on the interactive relationship between production and matching, and the specific artistic language description can achieve a clear effect presentation.
