| In the early 20 th century,the convergence of Chinese and Western cultures,influenced by Western thought,caused a huge reaction in the art circles and provoked a strong discussion in all walks of life in search of the future of Chinese painting.Combine the development of sketching of meticulously-detailed flower-and-bird painting into the early 20 th century,this paper seeks to explore the formation and development of Yu Fei’an’s sketch view of meticulously-detailed flower-and-bird painting under the influence of such background,and to analyze how his sketch view was expressed in his paintings.Yu Fei’an was nurtured by traditional culture since childhood,and after he began to study flower-and-bird painting in 1935,he developed from "learning from tradition" to "learning from nature",exploring in theory and exploring in practice,and gradually formed his own sketch view.From the experience of life and natural observation,he learned the rules of objects;from ancient literature and scientific knowledge,he understood the knowledge of plants and animals;from exploration and repeated practice,he refined the language of color and ink;from traditional meaning and contemporary imagery,he enriched the spiritual connotation.Analyzing the various stages and specific methods of Yu Feih’an’s sketching,summarizing the four main elements of his sketch view,and attempting to analyze them by synthesizing personal experiences,published books,and mental perceptions.Based on specific paintings,Yu Fei’an’s sketch view is analyzed in terms of both sketching and creation,in order to present his precise observation and detailed portrayal of natural objects,as well as his personal refinement and meaning.Discussing Yu Fei’an’s inheritor who inherit and develop Yu Fei’an’s sketch view,and considering the influence and inspiration of his sketch view on the present,with a view to developing innovation. |
