Research On The Elements And Creation Of English Literature In The Construction Of Mongolian Contemporary Literature(1949-2020)

The relationship between English literature and Mongolian contemporary literature is very close.The former has exerted great influence on the construction and development of Mongolian contemporary literature.This paper attempts to systematically sort out and investigate the relationship between English literature and Mongolian contemporary literature from the perspective of English literature translation-communication-acceptance-influence-variation-ethnic creation.The first chapter discusses the Mongolian translation and characteristics of English literature in Mongolian contemporary literature.Through the translation and introduction of Mongolian literature through books,newspapers,anthologies,textbooks and other media,English literature has experienced three stages: the foundation period,the flourishing period and the expansion period.In three sections,it discusses the general situation and characteristics of Mongolian translation of English literature in the foundation period,prosperity period and development period respectively.The contents of the three sections are attached with tables to make a statistical analysis of the general situation of English literature in Mongolian translation of Mongolian literature from 1949 to 2020.The dissemination of English literature is mainly mediated by Chinese and Kirill,supplemented by other languages.The wide dissemination of its Mongolian translation has promoted the development and maturity of contemporary Mongolian literature.The second chapter discusses the phenomenon of English literature in Mongolian contemporary literature.This paper focuses on the dissemination,acceptance and influence of Shakespeare,Daniel Defoe,Swift,Dickens,romantic poetry and other writers and phenomena in Mongolian contemporary literature.The relationship between English literature and Mongolian contemporary literature is more about the reference and inspiration of the potential creation style,writing mode and artistic technique.For example,the influence of Shakespeare’s works on the poetical phenomenon of Mongolian novels,such as the poetic flavor of Malachin’s novels,the free consciousness of romantic poets,the influence and inspiration of free lyricism on the poets such as Na Saiyin Chaoketu and Be Burinbehi.The third chapter continues to explore the phenomenon of English literature in Mongolian contemporary literature,focusing on the dissemination,acceptance and influence of Hardy,Woolf,Eliot and other writers as well as the imagism and Harry Potter phenomenon in Mongolian contemporary literature.In the relationship between English literature and Mongolian literature,the free and open literary concepts and novel writing methods in English literature are imperceptibly digested by Mongolian literature,which adds new quality to Mongolian literature.For example,the acceptance of Woolf’s stream of consciousness in Saim Bayar’s works,the acceptance of Harry Potter’s magical writing style in Mongolian literature and so on.Chapter four discusses the influence,variation and ethnic creation of English literature in the construction of Mongolian contemporary literature.Since the founding of New China,English literature has exerted an important influence on the construction of contemporary Chinese literature,including Mongolian literature,due to the flourishing of translation,introduction and research.Especially in the new period,the stream of consciousness novel,adventure novel,female novel and other novel models appeared in Mongolian literature.In terms of poetry,the English romantic and modern(such as Imagist)poems were widely accepted,which had a positive impact on updating the artistic concept and creation mode of Mongolian poetry.In the process of acceptance,due to the influence of ethnic cultural filter,social reality,ethnic cultural tradition and writers’ creative personality,there must be variation and creativity.Mongolian also combine foreign elements with local elements,and find out the fruits of variation and innovation such as Mongolian stream-of-consciousness novels,Mongolian adventure novels,Mongolian female creation,and Mongolian modern poetry.
