The Space Expression And Application Of Vitality In Sculptures

Art originates from life,and humans also express life through art,using art as a way of integrating the mind and external objects,and inheriting memory and spirit.Sculpture is one of the space arts,and the thematic presentation and visual effects of sculpture works are inseparable from spatial expression.From the perspective of the spatial composition of sculpture works,this thesis will explore the role of the continuous trend of vitality generated by sculpture works in the viewer’s psychology in the expression of themes.The thesis first elaborates the concept and characteristics of vitality,and then classifies the different types of vitality displayed in sculpture works.The author divides them into four categories:The vitality that exists in response to the situation;The vitality that develops because of the situation;The vitality that is forced to limit the situation;The vitality that breaks against the situation.And explain them separately.After entering the discussion of the expression of vitality in the sculpture space architecture,based on the four types of vitality expression in the sculpture works mentioned above,the author divides the types of space architecture into four categories in order,namely:Spatial coexistence;Spatial divergence;Spatial coercion;Spatial breakthrough.According to the characteristics of spatial architecture and their unique visual characteristics,a further distinction is made.Each type of spatial type includes two types of spatial architecture methods.The final part of the thesis is the practical content of personal work creation in related research directions during my graduate period,as well as the design and production content of my graduation work.
